How do you get to STX Resort (STX리조트)?
Reaching STX Resort is quite straightforward. If you’re coming from Seoul, take an express bus to Mungyeong; it takes about 2.5 hours and costs around ₩25,000 (about $19 USD). Once in Mungyeong, taxis are readily available for the short trip to the resort, approximately 15 minutes away.
Alternatively, if you’re driving, the resort is conveniently located off National Route 3. Just keep an eye out for signs as you approach Mungyeong. For those relying on public transport from nearby cities like Daegu or Pohang, similar bus services are available. That part surprised me.
What should you know before visiting STX Resort (STX리조트)?
Before heading to STX Resort, be aware that tipping is not customary in Korea. Also, you’ll find that water is complimentary at restaurants — this could save you a bit during your stay. It’s best to book your spa treatments in advance since they can fill up quickly, especially on weekends.
